The Yuba Sutter Master Chorale is an ensemble of singers from throughout the Yuba, Sutter, Colusa and Sacramento areas. The Chorale is now in its 14th year of bringing the finest in choral literature to the Yuba Sutter Community. The Chorale reflects a stunning cross-section of singers including nurses, lawyers, teachers, students, government employees, pastors, and many other professional groups. The common thread so essential and inherent within the ensemble is the love of choral singing and the desire to express through the human voice the great choral literature from throughout the ages.

 

The Chorale presents two major concerts a year, a Winter Concert and a Spring Concert. Music performed includes music from the Classical Era all the way through to modern and contemporary music. An important goal of the Yuba Sutter Master Chorale is to involve various Arts groups from throughout the Yuba Sutter area which includes dancers, poets, instrumentalists, artists, and more. Under the direction of Kathryn Campbell, it is the cultural mission of the Yuba Sutter Master Chorale to continue the quest for fantastic performing arts in the Yuba Sutter Community.

 

Any person interested in singing with the Yuba Sutter Master Chorale is invited and encouraged to attend rehearsals every Tuesday evening from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the First Lutheran Church on the corner of Forbes and Cooper Streets (across from the Sutter County Public Library) in Yuba City, CA. Rehearsals for the Fall 2018 concert begin on September 4th at 6:30 PM.
